VR and Out of Body Experience

Virtual reality can be used to induce 'out-of-body' experiences, according to Swiss and British scientists. By giving healthy subjects virtual reality goggles and creating virtual representations for them, researchers were able to simulate feelings experienced by many people after traumatic incidents--as if the person's consciousness is outside of the body and watching everything happening to the body from afar.
